This traditional mechanical fiberoptic connector is designed exclusively for fiber that has a 3mm jacket, such as traditional single jacket Cleerline or similar brand. IFP Connect has partnered exclusively with Optix America because we believe they have the best connectors on the market. Rather than a sliding lens design, they leverage a simple push-button lens, making termination up to 20% faster. And removal is easy by just reinstalling the plastic key. They can be reused up to three times, so if you forget to install the threaded jam nut or need to reinstall the connector, you don’t need to toss the connector.
