Going into 2024

Who is IFP?  What are we doing?  Where have we been and where are we going?

IFP was started by integrators, for integrators, to allow them to build better networks.  Our products remove the speed limitation from the wall and instead the only limit of the network is the transceiver and switch that are just held in place with two screws.  And our ecosystem of one strand of fiber and 18/2 are the foundation for everything to come.  Read on to learn how IFP revolutionizing networks, not only in single family homes either.  Our products work for MDUs, commercial, and government also.

As a dealer of IFP you are part of a movement.  Something far bigger than just another widget or AV component with a bunch of flair.  The team at IFP, like our dealers, believe there is a better way to serve our clients; by building better networks that use less copper, less labor, and truly create unlimited networks.  So what is coming?  Stay tuned as 2024 will bring exciting products to the family.  Just imagine building a fiber network in a home or business that could support anything the future holds, including 8K video, networking, control, and audio, all over a single strand of fiber.  And the really amazing part is that this has already been proven and is actually quite easy to do.  The only thing keeping this from already being standard is there are not enough homes or businesses with fiber for manufacturers to justify the cost outlay of launching these products.  The market is just too small.  But not anymore.  As more and more integrators adopt a fiber ecosystem, more and more products will come to the market.  The problem with fiber has always been a chicken/egg debacle; integrators don’t install fiber because there aren’t any products, and manufacturers don’t build product because there isn’t any fiber installed.  Now things change.  And be ready because things will change fast!

As our dealers have already discovered, fiber is faster, easier, and more reliable than category cable.  There are less conductors to trim out incorrectly, less wires to break, less drilling required, higher durability, and overall a far better network.  And as a dealer you’re not jumping on board to some unproven technology.  IFP uses proven technologies like WDM, single-mode fiber, and SC connectors that have been around for tens of years.  The industry needed someone from the trenches that understood the hardships integrators face, to combine these technologies into a platform that allows integrators to run a better business, deliver a better solution to their customers, and do it at a competitive price point.

Whether you are a builder, developer, residential/commercial integrator, or an end user, reach out and learn how our products and ecosystem can allow your networks to run faster with more reliability and stability than you have ever experienced.
